free trade and free markets

issue

America and humanity as a whole is being held back by an ever-expanding system of government regulation, interference, and centralized control over what should be a free and open marketplace of goods, services, ideas, innovation, and trade. Human progress flourishes when individuals are free to create, compete, experiment, and build without asking permission from bloated bureaucracies that move slower than the people they claim to serve.

Throughout history, the greatest leaps forward in civilization have happened during periods of increased freedom and innovation. The Renaissance transformed human thought, science, and culture. The Industrial Revolution radically improved quality of life and accelerated technological progress at a pace the world had never seen before. Under truly Libertarian principles, we could experience another era of exponential advancement, one that reshapes medicine, technology, energy, transportation, communication, and human achievement itself.

For generations, humanity has imagined a future filled with extraordinary breakthroughs: cures for devastating diseases, revolutionary transportation, abundant energy, thriving space exploration, and solutions to poverty and hunger. But so many of these advancements remain delayed, restricted, or buried beneath layers of government regulation, licensing systems, taxation, bureaucratic approval processes, inflationary monetary policy, and barriers designed to protect established institutions rather than encourage innovation.

When innovators, entrepreneurs, scientists, and creators are finally freed from unnecessary government obstacles, human ingenuity will once again move at full speed. Creative minds shouldn't spend years navigating red tape, battling compliance systems, or seeking permission from agencies that often discourage risk-taking and reward stagnation. A freer society unleashes competition, experimentation, and discovery.

Government does not create innovation; people do. And when government continuously drains wealth, time, energy, and optimism from the people through excessive taxation, regulation, and economic manipulation, it slows the progress of society itself. Remove those barriers, restore economic freedom, and empower individuals to build freely again, and we can usher in a new age of human flourishing unlike anything seen in modern history.

The future humanity has dreamed about is still possible, but it won't come through more control, more bureaucracy, or more centralized planning. It'll come through freedom.
